Yves Saint Laurent Haute Couture
The Complete Works, 1962-2002
By Pierre Bergé
Yves Saint Laurent Haute Couture is the definitive collector’s item for devotees of the late designer. This lavish limited edition of 500 boxed sets reproduces the complete sketches, runway notes, and fabric samples for more than 15,000 garments–every garment Saint Laurent produced during his four-decade career. In addition to 1,400 facsimile plates showcasing the most loved (and most notorious) collections, a 96-page viewing guide introduced by Pierre Bergé provides an index, biography, and bibliography to put Saint Laurent’s work into context, and a 180-page program album compiles programs from all 80 haute couture runway shows.
The plates and two bound volumes are packaged in four clamshell boxes and shipped in a custom wooden cabinet made specially for this set.
